UHP Graphite Electrode

Surface Characteristics

The electrode surface must exhibit minimal imperfections, with no more than two defects or holes present, each adhering to the maximum size specified in the provided chart.

The surface must remain free of any transverse cracks. For longitudinal cracks, their length should not exceed 5% of the electrode’s circumference, and their width should range from 0.3 to 1.0 mm.

Furthermore, the extent of the darkened region on the electrode surface should not surpass 1/10 of the electrode’s circumference in width, and its length should stay below 1/3 of the electrode’s total length.
